The use of rose in fragrance has always held a unique place in Middle Eastern perfumery tradition. The floral, delicate notes of rose help rejuvenating the soul. It serves as a wonderful, timeless ingredient, to harmonise the senses.
BASE NOTE
Oakmoss
Oakmoss is a lichen (cross between a fungus and algae) that grows on oak tree trunks, and stored for several months to develop its smell. Oakmoss infuses warmth, intensity and depth to Chypré fragrances. Its aroma is highly faceted and tenacious.
MIDDLE NOTE
Labdanum
Labdanum is extracted from Cistus plants that grow in Mediterranean climates, and serves as a pillar of Chypre perfumes. It is a warm and complex resin that is sometimes perceived as leathery, with hints of plum.
