Al-Jawharah was the fruit of an idyllic vision…An image of sharing our revered eastern incenses to the west to reshape the vision and appreciation of Bukhoor in the hearts and minds of people. We desired our clients who had never sampled Arabic incense before to step out of their scent norms and explore new dimensions of fragrance creation – and they did. The reception Al-Jawharah received was incredible – warm, appreciative and encouraging.

GHARB is our response to that wonderful reception. Utilising the centuries old tradition of Bakhoor compositions that are hushedly passed down from mother to daughter, from generation to generation it is an incense built with the temperament and olfactory palate of a western-inclined connoisseur in mind.

Combining the rarest of ingredients, Hindi, Sri Lankan and Vietnamese oudhs, Hujari Frankincense, Somali Myrrh, Kashmiri Saffron, Indian Sandalwood with fragrant rose, patchouli and bergamot to name a few.
